- 1 sheet Puff Pastry — approx. 320g
- 300 g beef steak — Diced
- 1 piece Onion — Finely Chopped
- 1 piece Beef Stock — Dissolved in approx. 200ml water
- 1 tbsp Plain flour
- 1 tbsp Tomato Puree
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 piece Egg — Beaten (for egg wash)
- 1 tbsp Butter — For frying
Method
Heat oil in a pan, fry onion until softened. Add beef and brown on all sides.
Stir in flour, then add stock, tomato purée, and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer 20–25 minutes until beef is tender and gravy thick.
Preheat oven to 200°C (fan 180°C) / 400°F.
Roll pastry and cut into 4 rectangles.
Spoon cooled filling onto one side of each rectangle. Fold pastry over, seal edges with a fork.
