Homemade Greggs-style festive bake on baking tray

Why you’ll love it

The Greggs Festive Bake is a limited-edition holiday treat that UK fans wait for every winter. Wrapped in golden puff pastry, it’s packed with a creamy filling of chicken breast pieces, sage and onion stuffing, crispy bacon, and a hint of sweet cranberry. Topped with a crunchy breadcrumb coating, it’s a Christmas classic in handheld form. With this copycat recipe, you can make your own Festive Bakes at home – no queues, no seasonal limits. Using ready-rolled puff pastry keeps things simple, while fresh chicken, stuffing, and bacon give you the same indulgent filling. Serve warm for a cosy fakeaway that tastes just like Greggs.

About the original
